Building Supports is a community-based project led by three project partners: BC Non-Profit Housing Association, BC Society of Transition Houses, and The FREDA Centre for Research on Violence Against Women and Children. The first year of this three-year project is focused on research and includes three components:

1. Online surveys with transition house and multi-service agency staff across BC
2. Individual interviews with housing managers across BC
3. Focus groups and individual interviews with immigrant and refugee women who have left abusive relationships.
